So.............. long time no speak guys :P

well. first of all my Dad's 50th. Turns out i didn't have into work at like 9 in the morning (i know !) so naturally, as sleep is what i covet most these days, i had a long lie after much preperation on the friday night. After telling you all about my lemon zesting and peeling fiasco and the acheing wrist, i woke up to 10 oranges needing the same !!! Had i been more tired it probably wouldn't have had me giggling but the situation plus my dad's pathetic juggling attempt just had to make you laugh ! :P
We had such a fun day getting everything ready, Fraser was cooking almost the whole day so the kitchen wa a mess with pots everywhere ! i was making the syrup stuff for my lemon drizzle cake whilst my dad was up and down to the cawder club to borrow tables and chairs etc and my mum....was well decorating shall we say. It didn't take long for the backroom to be done, table set and decorations up etc so my mum and dad had Rod Stewart on full blast and it was on to the helium balloons ! my mum was hopeless so basically waited for us to fill them up with the canister and tied them with ribbons. Ofcourse there was the obligory 'suck in the helium and have a funny voice' which went on until we ran out of helium.
It was a lovely night :D it was so lovely to see all my family again and actually spend time with them finally. It was the first time Fraser's girlfriend - Eilidh had met them all aswell, bless her, meeting that crazy bunch at the one time must have been daunting:P.
We had a lovely dinner (and dessert :P) and had a few games, the guess the song from the musical pictionary and ofcourse the Wii competition in which i whooped everyone's butt at in tennis ! (awoohoo *dances*) Also my dad loved his present :) we got him a bottle of really nice whisky and a glass specifically for whisky which the guy at the shop said was really good and he loved the collage - so all in all a brilliant night :D

My 42nd Street rehearsal on Monday night actually almost killed me - i've never done so much tap dancing in my life. it wasn't that the steps were hard, it was that they were so freekin fast ! and i also met my gran's cousin who i've not seen since my christening :P  she's a memeber at the group but isn't doing 42nd street this year. It's really coming along well now and i'm so excited about it ! despite it being imn March :P.

I've almost finished my UCAS stuff aswell. i had it all done by myself and then i was told i should be doing it through the college - despite asking and being told a different thing in September. So tonight i'll get it paid and sent to my college then Monday they're sent away :) I applied for places in London despite knowing that i wont get in - i'm too young and not enough official qualifications to be considered but even an audition is good experience, and i've applied for QMU in Edinburgh. Nerveracking of what ! :O but hopefully i'll do college HNC/HND and then go on to Uni :)

Works been uber crazy aswell ! Mega days now over, but i was in 10am till 7pm on Sunday and 5pm till 10pm on thursday and i think it's the same for the next few weeks but i'm looking forward to the christmas buzz. And yes i'm still fighting back the christmas feeling until December (last year i got too christmassy too early and then ended up loosing it by christmas so that wont be happening this year) come monday, be ready for a very festive Miss Malcolm :P

One more thing, i went into Zavvi on the way back from college on Monday and looked at the Doctor Who DVD's (basically so i can give my mum and dad a clue as to where in the shop they are :P - for my crimbo prezzie) and on the little sticker it had the extras on the DVD and it said outtakes but as far as i'm aware and as far as i've been told by people with the box set, there aren't outtakes on it :S

comments please :D they'll make me warm on this horrible, rainy day .
