So i have been utterly swamped the past few days and have had hardly any chance to post, comment, view anything on LJ so sorry and i'm catching up i swear.
First of all, friday, my aunt and uncle's anniversary dinner. It was so great to see them again :D i missed them a lot, it's hard to keep in touch regularly, they live in Zante and own a restaurant so the hours are funny hence hard to call them. Apparantly i've changed a lot in just over three years, whichi understand, i've lost weight, my hairs almost twice the length, red and i now have a fringe :P and my sense of style's changed a lot too :P we had a really lovely meal at the Orregano (my brother used to work there so we got a great table)needless to say, everyone bar me and my granny got drunk :P The meal was lovely and it was all in all a great night :)
Saturday i had along lie which was a nice change, for some reason i've been waking up really early even when i don't need to be. My friend in Edinburgh - Jenni, invited me through weeks ago and i've not been able to but i had the saturday free so arranged to go see her. Got the train to Croy, then The Edinburgh Train. Managed to actually read on the train given it was about 35 minutes. Jenni and her friend James were there to meet me and we met her other flatmate, Gemma, and went to Witherspoons for lunch. After that we went shopping around Edinburgh and at about half 5, we went down to the Winter Wonderland at Princes Street. Watching the ice skaters was hilarious, there was one boy, about 12 who continuously fell every 2 minutes and we literally couldn't stop laughing at him.
After wandering about till about 7, we were freezing and it was really dark so we got the train back to the Student Accomodation in Musselborough. i met all her friends at the Uni and all went back to her flat for drinking games :P i had a lot of Vodka left over from a party a while back, so it was good fun. Her friends were fab and i felt really comfortable around them all. They were hilarious and really sweet. At about 10 i had to go to make sure i could get the last train home from Glasgow back home. Got the train back to Waverly, then got the half 10 train to Queen Street. Missed the 20 past 11 train by ONE MINUTE !!!!!!!! couldn't believe it, but i managed to get the 10 to 12 so it was all good. Bloody freezing, but all good. My dad met me at the station to walk me home and i was able to lie in again as i wasn't in work till 12 :D
Work was okay, but really quiet after 6 as i don't think many costomers knew it was open late. Meant we could get everything done and give the place agood clean. Nothing beats dancing to christmas songs with a feather duster and some oust ! :P I got some realyl chatty costomers at the changing rooms aswell (i was on changing rooms for an hour) so all in all a good day. Although, i think my boss is a bit angry at me and clare. We checked the Rota's last week and saw that she'd put us both in for Boxing Day and New Years Day. One- it's unfair to put us in for both when some people are doing neither, Two - We're both 17 and haven't been working there for that long so if anything goes wrong then we're screwed, and Three - trains and busses don't run on New Years Day so it would be a taxi both ways, £15, double rates on New Year's Day so £30 both ways. I would be paying £60 to make £66 at work. So we left a note saying unless thecompany could reinburse us then we wouldn't really be able to do it, could we speak to her to sort it out. It wasn't a cheeky note and we just had to tell her and now she's gone and scored us out - in pen (everything on the rota's done in pencil) - and didn't leave us a note or anything. She always leaves a note to tell us what to do, but nope, sodding nothing there for us ! so think she's a tad angry :P anyway, we left her an uber cheery note to make her feel bad for not leaving us one :P.
In exciting news, my friend from College, Lauren, gave me my christmas card today and inside was a ticket to the Doctor who Exhibition in March in Glasgoe, it's my Xmas prezzie :D we're going to make a whole Doctor Who day of it complete with DVD's and she's making a TARDIS cake - how cute !
