I just got home from my sister's surprise birthday party. It went well. Actually, it was a hit. My sis was actually surprised; this is extremely difficult to do. Her husband came up with the idea, contacted everyone, did the food, the decorations, the cake, planned the whole thing. He'd forgotten to get birthday candles but improvised with great success. Everyone had a fantastic time.
