Lex does look possessive but I can only describe Clark as defiantly wanton. I see Lex also as defending Clark, like if you want to get to him you'll have to deal with me first which is ironic given who has the superpowers. Then again it could just be a pic of two hotties, I overanalyse a lot.

YES!!! wanton. That is the perfect word. I was trying to analyze how he looked and that totally fits. And I can see Lex as the total defender of Clark. He would after all do almost anything for a friend. Hmmm wonder if there is a fic there somewhere.

It's Clark's eyes and that so what look? Now that you say fic I'm imagining some guy hitting on Clark in a club and Lex stepping in to say hands off. Maybe Clark could handle the situation leaving Lex put out or maybe Clark would enjoy being the one getting rescued for a change. Now that's taking me down the whole control route with Clark surrendering control to deal with stress.

Mmmmm, a possessive & protective Lex. Very nice. I love the hand on Clark's knee. I love Clark sitting back there like it's his due or something. They are both looking very alpha here, but Clark's acceptance over who's in front certainly suggests that he isn't the top dog in this relationship. Surprisingly, I can live with that. *G*

I blame fandom. 18 months ago I would have seen Clark and Lex from Smallville posing for a publicity photo and not given a thought to where Le'x hand was or their positions in relation to each other. Now...well, you read it above. Yep, it's all fandom's fault.

Yowza! ^____^ Somehow I don't think the producers expected *this* out of the photoshoot - but man, I wish they would have. Beautiful manip! It's pretty much perfect, and I love the possessiveness and hotness smoldering between both of them. :)
