Only 11 more days!!!
I am soooo close to being done with this semester! I really can't wait til this is all over...no more pressure or stress or anything for a whole month! Yay!! I definitely enjoyed my first semester at Mass. College but it was a totally new experience that was draining in so many ways...physically, emotionally, sometimes spiritually. But it's almost over and then I can refresh myself over winter break.
I've struggled a lot this semester with how I present my faith logically. It's so easy when you're writing or talking to a Christian cuz you can assume that they know and believe certain things. But when you're in the real world, you can assume that people know your presuppositions. You literally have to lay everything out or else you're discounted as some religious freak with no basis other than "God wants us to." Like for my next paper, I have to explain what my basis is for ethical dilemmas. Dude that is soooo hard. Cuz you have to go back to the foundational presuppositions in order to logically show how God and the Bible can be your basis. And then explaining the presupposition that man is inherently sinful etc. is so against everything that our culture says. Omg it's so hard and equals frustration.
