Sigh....
I've been sitting here thinking. My husband and I have noticed a very disturbing trend on my blood dad's side of the family. My cousin Crystal took us to see some headstones of family and hubby was looking at the DOB's and date of death's.
Well he noticed that for the most part, people on Nelson's *my blood dad* side have been lucky to make it to the age of 60. Pretty freaky huh? What brought all this on you ask?? Well maybe you don't lol. But anyway, I had an aunt and uncle pass away last weekend. The visitations/funerals started tuesday and go through tomorrow. My aunt Patsy died of liver failure, my uncle Leroy of a heart attack. She was 58 and he was 66.
When my blood dad passed away he was only 34. I didn't really know Patysy and Leroy very well...but seeing all of my blood family I know and care about hurting like they are hurts me. I started crying tonight because I was comforting Crystal. Seeing her crying like she was just got to me.
I hope me, Crystal, Lee, Daron, and all of the other younger Randall's can break this trend of not making it past 60......
