My Grandson arrived last night. Drunker that a skunk, carrying on about how Isabella left him and how he just didn't understand how it could be that one day everything was fine and the next she was gone. You look like hell, mon ami.

About how I feel too.
*pours a glass of water before sitting down on the couch*
She left me, Grandmere.

So you've said, many times last night. Did she say why?

I don't know what I believe, Grandmere. My marriage will never be a mistake to me. Isabella, she's everything I ever wanted. I've told you this before, but it's always felt like we were destined to be together.
I thought she felt the same.
*shrugs*
I've been known to be rejected by people that said they loved me before. Obviously there is something about me that pushes people away.

I got the impression from Isabella she felt the same way. Seems awfully strange for her to go from lovin the hell out of you to walkin out in a matter of hours, don't it?
*looks at him*
Evan, there isn't anything wrong with you. So stop talking like that or your Grandmere gonna have to smack you.
