My daughters are devious things. I can appreciate that, however it is not suitable and it does not get the things I want done accomplished does it?
The meeting with Evan went just as I expected it to, despite the complication of having my two wayward children show up without an invitation. This certainly answers which dimension they dissapeared to, and my investigator will hear from me on not reporting that they were in contact with him. Although he may have mistaken them for Evalon. Still unacceptable.
Evan has a strong will, probably bolstered by his sire who has become his surrogate father and the rest of his family. If this loyalty can be broken he will be perfect. If it can't he is a flawed version and he will be disposed of.
I do believe my little speech to Eva will inspire her to go home and at least visit her grandmother if not try to reconcile with me. Good, then I can give her to the mob to pay off the money and goods she stole from them and that will be one less loose end. In the meantime I have someone gathering me information on her life here in this dimension. No more surprises when I see her again.
And the other Evalon. Daring to impersonate my true daughter, it was easy to rattle her by asking her repeatedly about Patrick. I know how his death destroyed her, he is my best weapon against her. I believe I'll need to put measures in place to avoid her trying anything drastic like hurting me.
I will pass on Evan's regards to Evangeline and wait for the next move.
