Noloholo, Day 23: Sunday Quiet

Jun 24, 2012 04:43

A quiet day. I am feeling significantly under the weather in the morning, so I forego all planned activities and just rest in my tent. I finally get up in the afternoon, read a little bit and finally start writing up my work for WCS. I’ve decided that Sundays are perfect days to relax, but also to do my big projects that I never got around to. My first project is to publish the results of my survey from last summer. I am still chugging rehydration salts, and after dinner Laly gives me some Immodium. A crescent moon, the color of butternut squash, hangs waifish behind the evening clouds, and as night envelops my tent I hear the distance whoop of a hyena.
