Okay, so Coca-Cola comes in a glass bottle here when you order it at a restaurant or a bar. And we spend a lot of time at the bars. Last night Spain won thier second game in el Mundial (the world cup), and people here go fucking batshit insaneo.
Also, the ingredients in things are different here. A lot of stuff tastes better because they HAVE to use sugar, they can´t use high fructose corn syrup. And if you don´t want to get drunk or you don´t like beer (like me), it kinda sucks b/c soda is so much more expensive than beer. At the bar we were at last night, the beer on tap (almost always Cruzcampo) was .90€ a glass, and an orange fanta was 1.40€ You can get a 40 of Cruzcampo for .10€ more.
And fanta- Here, fanta kicks ass because, by law, it must contain a certain percentage of fruit juice not from concentrate. Its so tasty. And the other day in Portugal (which was sooo beautiful), Joe got a Banana Fanta. Say that a bit. Banana. Fanta. BananaFanta.
I got to go soon.
Oh, and Andalusia has the best ham. I had a bitchin ham and chesse sandwich.
¨You wanna try some of my bocadilla little girl? Uhhhhh...¨ There are some really cool people on this trip that I´m going to have to chill with when we get back to VCU. We´re thinking of starting a VCU siesta team.
