Cold and Damp
That describes the weather today. In fact, at the moment, 1633 hours (CST or -6 GMT), it's snowing. It won't accumulate but it's pretty. Mostly, we got rain from this system.
Thanks for the nudge, Chris. I just don't sit at the computer much with Mom here. I get about an hour to do whatever when she's watching her show but today I just stretched out on the couch and rested. Yesterday I kept sewing on those crescent pillow covers for the massage lady. I think I've decided to ask $8/a piece. I've looked them up on the internet and that's the going price. I have 36 of the little buggers and I think I have about 26 finished. Part of them will buy me a massage. Bartering for a massage. Next project: Baby dresses. Evenings I've been doing another name crochet. Our Associate Minister of Music just moved into our neighborhood and I thought that would make a nice house warming gift.
I feel like I have a lot on my plate at the moment and that's why I've mentioned the stress again. Tonight it's ESL class. Tomorrow night it's choir. Thursday, a hair appt for mom. Maybe I'll stay home Friday or maybe I can barter for that massage on that day. Who knows? LOL
Spiritually, I really feel I'm in the midst of a personal revival. I'm happy about that. I took a meal to a fellow choir member because I felt like doing it. The first time in a long time I have felt like ministering to someone else. This church is so alive.
Guess I'd best get back to dinner. ESL is at 1830.
