I'm trying to picture two planes trying to land at the same time and always without fail end up with a big boom! ;)

LOL there are two runways... one on the east side running north and south and one on the west side that's parallel. Evidently they are far enough apart that they can land two planes at the same time. They also leave 2 at a time... like clockwork. In the morning they are returning between 9a and 11a. They leave again from 3p to 5p. Then it all repeats at 9p to 11p in and 3a to 5a out.

I'm emailing the satellite view... hope your dial up can handle that. BTW, that's how I found where you live...by zooming in on the Google satellite map of NZ

I can tell you this much. I can zoom the map in enough to know that your street appears to be on the edge of town. The streets are named. I can't see that close with the map/satellite hybrid map.

Yes, after I had received your googlemaps link I looked up our place. Yes we live on the edge of town. You can see how much we live in the country. Our population is 15,500 approx.

If it's any consolation, ours is a big blur too. You can make out the three schools in a row but mostly there is just a band of blur. :o(
