(no subject)
I thought sleeping in today would be wonderful, but my body is obviously on some weird time clock, so I've been up since around 8. Wahoo! Life here has been good lately. Christmas was good, and I was 10x more amazed at Eddie then ever before. Time with family was just too short. I hate that. This week we went to Myrtle Beach for a night for my birthday...that was fun. We went to the Aquarium, although if you've seen one Ripley's Aquarium, you've seen all of them. Nevertheless, I love looking at the sharks!!
At this point in my life, I'm not all that concerned with having the perfect job or the dream job, but a job that pays bills and that has a nice work environment. Daniel Island Academy definitely is that. I love where I work without a doubt. Some might be intimidated by the all the rich people who live there, but honestly it gets old after awhile. The Vice-president of this company, the CEO of this, Plastic surgeon, etc etc etc....it just gets old. They are just people, normal people, just a bit spoiled at times. If I get asked whether we "live on the island" or not ONE more time, I'll scream. My answer always gets the ho-hum reply..."Uh, no sir we live in Hanahan"...and gosh darnet we appreciate all that we have... Just imagine all these moms walking in with there Gucci purses and 1,000 sunglasses picking up their children....lol its quite humorous. . . . .
What's so great about Daniel Island anyway? Yeah it's pretty, yeah it's pretty much crime free, but what else? There must be gold or something hidden in the walls of the houses and OH YEAH. . . There are new condos going up for sale....1 bedrooms, about 790 sq. ft, and selling for 110,000.....YEP...explain THAT ONE guys.
So not much has changed. Flash is still here, although he is more of Eddie's cat. He attacks me too much so now I'm forced to walk around with a water bottle, ready to squirt him any second.
I'm off to get ready to meet Eddie for lunch, and shop...:)
