So, I had the best visit with Stephanie! It was so nice to see her.
She got here on Wednesday, we went to dinner at Big City Burrito and had their awesome potato burritos and then we went to the basketball game (CSU vs. Wyoming). It was my first game, and we lost, but it was a good game and we had a lot of fun.
On Thursday I went to school to work on M317 homework with Jason and Jordan while Stephanie hung out with Kayla. Then I met up with Stephanie and we went to the mall and I bought a cocktail dress, it was fun. We then went to Target because Stephanie hadn't been since she had been home, which was not acceptable. We didn't really buy anything, but we had a good time looking. We then went to the Hillel Mocktail party, which was a lot fun. We played blackjack and Texas Hold 'em and danced a little bit, and had some fabulous mocktails made by my awesome roommate. It was fun getting all dressed up and hanging out with everyone, I think I Stephanie had fun as well.
On Friday I went to classes and then Stephanie and I headed down to Denver. We went to dinner at Chipotle with her dad and then went to Temple for "Cynergy." We went to Shabbat Un-plugged services and had a lot of fun singing and dancing around. It was funny, while we were dancing to L'Cha Dodi someone grabbed my hand and I looked up and it was Rachael. It was cool getting to spend Shabbat with her at my Synagogue. After services there was oneg, where I got to see my parents, which was nice, and then there was Israeli dancing, which was fun, as usual.
On Saturday we went to Cherry Creek Mall to visit Pamela at Neiman Marcus, that was fun. Then we headed up to Copper Mountain to go snow tubing. We had such a blast! There were different lanes you could go down, we like spinning down the fast lanes and the lane with the big jump. It was nice because there were some very cute guys (mostly from Australia with hot accents) who would get us going downt the hill, it made it much more fun. After having a fabulous time at the mountain we started the drive back down to Denver, which was horrible. The drive took twice as long as it should have because of traffic, but we made it. We then ordered-in Chinese food and watch Law & Order: SVU and the "Without a Paddle," it was a fun night.
Today we went to breakfast at Zaidy's, of course, it's our tradition. I had the Challah frenc toast, it was great, as usual. Then I had to leave Stephanie (but only until May 17, I'm going to make it). I drove back to the Fort with Brooke and then met Jordan in the library to work on some homework, I swear, I'm going to be seeing him and Jason more than my roommates this semester. I then came home.
So, I had a great time with Stephanie, I'm going to miss her. Luckily I will be visiting her in Israel in just a few months, I can't wait, I really want to meet all the people that she talks about, they seem like great people.
And now it is time to get back to homework, blech.
