I'm like a firecracker

This is what I saw today when I looked out my window.

Cindy started barking like crazy while my parents were in my room helping me with school work, and we noticed all these cop cars up and down our street. Our entire street was practically closed down. Five minutes later, this paddywagon drives up and all these SWAT team guys come out. That's when we knew it was serious. I immediately took out my camera and started snapping away. Many other cars showed up with more SWAT guys and policeman. My dad went outside and asked what was going on, and the officer said one of the neighbours was shooting. Meanwhile, all these SWAT guys are putting down bags and taking equipment out and getting suited up... RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE - RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY WINDOW! They were obviously setting up base right there. So, we're watching them change and everything (lol), and I see this one guy going up to our door. :o My dad let him in and he goes, "Are there any women in the house?" (lol), and there my mom and I walk in. He needed to change his pants, but I guess he felt uncomfortable doing it out in the street, so he wanted to step inside someone's house to do it, lol.. of course, our house. So, my mom told him he could use our bathroom, and afterward he thanked us and told us we'd be safe. Oh, and he was REALLY cute; just sayin'. Anyway, I figure I'd share my little slideshow of pictures along with some more of the story...

lol, here's one of the guys changing:

My camera was just getting started, and I was trying to snap quick here, so that's why this shot was blurry. There was this other guy who pulled down his pants and he had these turquoise blue briefs on, lmao. Too bad I wasn't fast enough to get a picture. XD

Setting up:

Scary stuff:

Loadin' 'em up in the SUV:

Getting some more guys together:

The guy in the pink actually works part-time at Papa John's, lol; his shirt said Papa John's, along with his hat; and his Papa John's delivery car was just more of an indication:

Gearin' up:

So many cars, so little time:

On the move:

I took this RIGHT before they ducked down and started running with their guns all crime drama series-like:

Everyone cleared out for a bit, in search of the suspect:

Two shots were fired.

AHA! Bad guy caught!

Ambulance for the injured:

I was glad to find out no one got seriously hurt.

Doesn't this picture look like it's from a war movie?

Safe men!

Sighs of relief:

Packin' things up, getting ready to leave:

That bald guy was smokin', lol (he reminded me a lot of Iain):

The guy helping to get everything on the truck was really cute:

One guy saw me taking pictures from my window and I quickly ducked (lol), and when I peeked, he was staring straight at me smiling, haha. I turned away again, and when I looked back, ANOTHER guy was looking at me, smiling, lol. I guess the first guy told the second guy that a girl was taking pictures of them from her window, haha.

And they were off!

I can't believe there was a criminal so close to us. :O That was such an incredible thing to witness. It was so scary, but so intense! It's definitely not something you see everyday... especially right in front of your house. What an adrenaline rush! There's rarely ever a dull moment around here.

Other than that, I got a week done in World Mythology and half a week done in Biology. I swear, Biology is going to be the death of me.

OMG, Happy Birthday, jonas! I hope you had an awesome day! ♥

Tomorrow is New Year's Eve!

Since today got so busy, I'll be posting my workout music mix within the next few hours or positively tomorrow. I'm sorry I'm behind in doing that.

I don't want to clutter this entry any longer, so I hope you all have a great rest of the night (though most of you are probably asleep by now), and I'll be posting again before you have a chance to miss me. ;)

Love. ♥

swat team, police, nablopomo, music, pictures, happy birthday
