Just dance

Just got back from the party... it was awesome! It was held in one of the ballrooms at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The food was excellent; it was a big buffet filled with chicken marsala, shrimp scampi, prime rib, salads, tomatoes with mozzarella on top, and there was this little area where they made you omelettes, but instead of using eggs, they used mashed potatoes. It was really tasty! The dessert table was the highest form of temptation, lol. I did have some fabulous bread pudding with this cream sauce... mmmm, it was so yummy. And I took a couple homemade Christmas cookies in my purse for my mom, haha. My dad and I were on the dance floor having a blast for close to an hour! The music was great; they played a ton of Madonna and Michael Jackson, with a few songs from Rihanna and Usher, etc. I loved dancing to "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga. We were a hit, lol. A lot of my dad's co-workers thought I was his wife, lmao, because, like, what man brings his daughter to such a function? lol We left a little early since people were getting really drunk and dancing inappropriately on the dance floor. You'd think this one lady was a stripper. O_o It was really starting to get uncomfortable, especially when you're sitting there with your dad, lol. Plus, that's not my scene, at all. I had a really good time overall, though. :)

I think I'm gonna head to bed early tonight... I'll check in on you guys' entries tomorrow sometime. I hope you all had a nice evening!
