A calm day, will come.
I've recently been on a hot streak with my pictures and inspiration, so I've gotten a lot done recently. Finished 4 of the 6 pictures that will be on show at the gallery I get at the World Pinball Championships, so that's awesome.
I still have til August, but I want to get them done now so I have time to do more and gave them printed in decent time. I've even gotten much better at editing and workflow, which is fantastic. I'm no longer unsure of my abilities as an assistant when it comes to post processing. I now do quicker, cleaner edits, and have come up with a damn good filing strategy while saving and layering. ^___^
I've been talking with my friend Cassandra about the possibility of working for UPMC taking pictures of peoples' eyeballs. Its looking like I will get the job, which is fan freaking tastic. I know that I'm practically giving my soul away working there, but if its gonna put me on easy street for a while with a steady income, I'm all for it. I also think that this gallery I get at the PAPA tournament is going to be amazing. I can't wait to see my images blown up and placed around the facility for people to check out while they attend and play pinball.
This is the start of something big, and I'm damn glad to be a part of it.
now, I just gotta finish up my website (which I've been revamping the hell out of. So many features I want to put in it!) and then I can be satisfied. Being a professional is nice sometimes.
And tomorrow I need to go to Jo ann fabrics to get some stuff for the next photoshoot. I'll have to eat some bourbon chicken while I'm out as well, Mmmmm.
