Winter is Coming...
It's finally starting to get COLD. The leaves have all but disappeared, the lawn is that lovely shade of burnt sienna, and I can almost taste the snow on the air. I am longing for winter.
I believe my love of winter has more to do with Jayden and Matt than anything. Jayden LOVES winter and all the fun it brings. We go sledding, build snow forts, and warm up with hot cocoa afterwards. I love that quintessential mom feeling. We are busy non-stop all summer and it's nice to slow down and enjoy things during the winter. I love curling up on the couch with a good book, or with Matt to watch a movie. It's my favorite time of year, nice, slow, relaxing, and all about my family. I hope work doesn't expect too much overtime out of me for awhile!! *L*
