[Dan is aiting by the front of the Art Department building in case Charlotte forgot her way there. He's wearing a comfortable pair of jeans and a green short sleeve t-shirt, kicking the grass and humming a little to himself.]

[like Charlotte would forget! Her intelligence quotient denies her getting lost in a place she's already been, sadly, and she's already explored a good portion of the campus.

And so she arrives promptly on time -- well, a couple minutes early - dressed all pretty in a skirt and cute top like she's usually dressed, messenger bag attached to her hip like always] Hello! I apologize if I made you wait long.

[turns around at hearing her voice, and there Brave Little Lady is!

Dan smiles and shakes his head lightly.] Don't worry about it. You're early.

[shakes her head demurely] I am just barely early. Additionally, you could have been waiting for me longer than I should have made you waited.

[gestures to the Art Department building] It's this way.

Thank you, Mr. Lira. [follows and was going to keep quiet until they get there but she is a bit to curious for her own good and her curiosity makes her a little impatient sometimes]

May I ask how the process of developing film starts?

[He blinks, and lets out a light laugh. This girl is really curious about the film developing process, isn't she?]

Well, first, you have to go into a lightproof room with your things and turn off the light.

Ah, right! I have always heard that the film gets ruined when exposed to light. What do you do once you are in the lightproof room?

[beneficially]

You have to take the film out of the canister and wire it properly, then put it into the developing tank.

[Oh, here they are, at the studio. Dan opens the door and waits for Charlotte to enter.]

Thank you. [enters with a smile and then waits for Dan to begin showing her fascinating things with an expectant look full of ~*~sparkles~*~]

[He closes the door and gets the film canisters from the cabinets, before pointing to the lightproof room] We first have to load the film over there.

[Walks over to the lightproof room and looks over the closed canisters] Let's see how these will turn out, shall we?

Yes, of course!

[pretty much scampers over except scampering isn't very ladylike so she just, uh, hurries over delicately or something and is now looking at the canisters very, very intently, very, very focused!!]

[Turns off the light and walks to the counter by the developing tank. Things are glowing, so the room might look eerie.]

Loading it should be quick.

[Dan gently takes the film out of the canisters and loads them into reels, threading and securing them with wires. Then he drops the loaded reels into the developing tanks and goes to turn the light back on after the lids are closed]

Normally, Charlotte would be all tl;dr too and ask a million questions, but for now she is just *_____________*] What happens next?

Then, you use these chemicals... [Dan takes out the small containers of chemicals and pours one into the developing tank, and making sure there are no bubbles from the liquid inside, lifts the tank and moves it around gently.]

I have to do this every thirty seconds for the next ten minutes or so. [glances at the clock that is placed next to the tanks] So, I think the time has arrived for conversation.
