I hate it when I think I am missing something, check its normal location and don't see it; so then proceed to go nuts searching, only to find that my inspection of its primary location was incomplete and it was there. I am too young to be old.
This past weekend I went to Destin, FL to see Anthony and Jamie get married. It was very nice, and even though it entailed a nine and half hour drive I was happy to be there. I was so glad to be apart of it. I made some bone-head mistakes on the trip, getting my car temporary stuck in sand, and running out of gas 200 yards short of the station on the return trip, but otherwise good times and great company. Even had a Weezer burger.
Hitting crunch time in school, hopefully for the last time... or at least the last time for a while. Yes this should be the last semester of classes for me. Between now and April 23rd I have to complete four papers (2 being semi-shot ones; one being massive) and an art project of some kind. May 16th are my comp exams, which I am somewhat scared of. After that its get the dissertation done ASAP or at the very latest March of '09. Andrew suggested busting my ass and finishing it early so I can have a miniature paid vacation as I wait for graduation. I dunno, this is serious business. Of course with the budget cuts I hope I have a job next year :\
Anyways; going to plow some work before my lunch/dinner break then its off to the School of the Arts lecture series, which I have been dodging.
