Apparently I give good juice!

My person is alive!  I just got home from the dentist and there in my mailbox - four months ahead of when they said I would be allowed to have any contact with my patient - was a letter.  Even though OneMatch redacted parts of the letter, I know her name is Anne and she is from Germany.   Because you can see that through black marker (that's why you redact and then photocopy.  Hey, I work in a law firm).  Anyway, I spent a lot of time trying not to think about my patient because there was no way to know if they would live or die from the procedure so while I wished good thoughts and put those out into the universe, it was easier to just not think about it too much at all.  But now I am very curious!  I'll be able to learn more in the coming months but how wild is it that she's from Germany since my stepmom is too and I used to speak German rather well - although that was many years ago.

She writes that she is doing very well and has had no adverse reaction at all to my stem cells.  No word yet if she finds herself suddenly craving fine cheese or has an unexplained addiction to Battlestar Galactica and champagne.
