I watched so you don't have to.
Even though many of you already have.
The Plan ... was not very well thought out. That was a mess of a "movie" And why did the terrible little CGI man have to make a return? Remember bad CGI guy from the landing deck (during/after the mutiny?) walking alongside C1? Well he's back and this time he brought a friend. Note to Hutzel: Just stick to blowing stuff up. Your missile shots are glorious. Creepy fake people, not so much.
So, what, like 2 months since D*C? Which means its been that long since I was last on the LJ as a non-lurker. I jinxed myself towards the end of my month-long holiday (prior to ATL of course) by saying out loud "I'm kind of bored with being on holiday". The universe responded with a swift kick upon my return to CGY. First day back in the office was 18 hours long. And that was one of the shorter ones. So commenced the next 6.5 weeks of my life. I helped deconstruct the largest oil and gas company in Canada. My document went to the printer two days ago. It will take a week to print up the number of copies needed for all the shareholders and will require 14 tractor trailers to get the thing delivered to the transfer agent. If it comes back with a spelling mistake I will make someone sit and watch The Plan as punishment. It's either that or stick a fork in my eye. I finally put my suitcases away five weeks after my return and I think on Monday I found what once was milk in my fridge but was now well on its way to either being identified as cheese or penicillin. Take your pick.
So for those of you gracious enough to friend me after D*C and to whom I have yet to respond to, my apologies. Can I blame it on being the mysterious and elusive Kiki? Bah, let's be honest, I chose 2 hours of sleep daily over you. And I would do it again. However, I'm going to dedicate myself to LJ this weekend and will get all that sorted out. That's right Susan, I think you're fabulous and I'm planning to friend you right back. To Eugis at the bottom of the world, I will be in touch (us November babies must stick together)! Doppel, my beta fingers are back and poised over the keyboard.
Castle for the win this week. And the subject line above is something Simon said around the 51 minute mark of the 112 minutes of my life I cannot get back tonight. It cracked me up and encapsulated what BSG became rather succinctly, I thought.
