So Washington is in and the Flyers are couch-surfing for the summer already. I don't even... Fine. Okay, I can live with that this year, I suppose. At least the Jets are out too. (Petty? Me? Well, yeah.)

East:
Pens v. Islanders - IDK. Tavares is the only Islander I can name. (How is he still only 22?) We'll go Pens, because... yeah. But I'm totally rooting for the Islanders anyway. *g*
Habs v. Sens - Montreal is the little team that could this year. I have faith.
Caps v. Rangers - I like both teams and they are sort of evenly matched here (go figure). Eh... Caps, just because.
Bruins v. Leafs - IDK what is going on with Boston lately. But the Leafs are about as vague to me as the Islanders, so... Bruins?

West:
Blackhawks v. Wild - Blackhawks FTW. (I will be mortified if they get bounced in the first round.)
Ducks v. Red Wings - Sounds like something that ought to involve BBQ sauce, yeah? I so don't care. Ducks, for lack of any real knowledge.
Canucks v. Sharks - Canucks, but only for Sean.
Blues v. Kings - Er... yeah, I got nothing. Flyers West, just on general principles?

In non-hockey fandoms...

Arrow - Oh, Ollie. So failtastic. Must Bruce Wayne be your role model for everything? Tommy Merlyn is far and beyond the better man these days and wow, I would not have predicted that when this series started. I kind of adore him lately and totally expect that in true television-trope fashion, this show will eviscerate him soon, so I'm kind of depressed about that. Am also slightly boggled that even the Thea and Roy thing is starting to become more endearing to me than Ollie's ongoing inability to be a functioning human being. I keep thinking that Thea's name is actually Mia though (thanks, Deception), and that's a little... confusing. It does not help with Ollie calling her "Speedy", since Mia, as well as Roy, are both Speedy in the comic books. Their joint storyline has potential to be fun. I like Diggle, but will be kind of disappointed if he caves again and lets Ollie drag him back into his crusade. Have decided that Felicity is too good for Ollie, but will approve if she becomes a little more pro-active in calling him on his stupid shit. I want to like Lauren, but it's becoming more difficult. It would have been so refreshing if they had let the Lauren/Tommy relationship actually work instead of throwing her back at Oliver again. Ugh. Move on, people. MOVE ON.
