Still in zombie-like sickness
Today was just grand. Woke up dried out like a sponge in the sun (illness is messing my mind, sorry). And uh...big gap until right now. Took a shower...and shaved finally. I've coughed up colors I didn't know even existed.
I remembered a funny convo I had at DXR a few weeks ago. This was while waiting for takeoff clearence with a seemingly rookie ATC:
ATC: *inaudible*
Me: "Tower, can you please repeat for 988?"
ATC: "*indiscreet sigh* 50988, position and hold."
Me: "Tower, can you please repeat without the attitude?"
Now, I did say that last part...but not to ATC, they would've smoted me somehow (by not letting me takeoff probably). I said it to my instructor and we both laughed. 'Twas mighty a good chuckle.
Oh yeah, today is the last day of the Month of the Harrier. Tomorrow starts the Month of the Hornet...wait no, *closer inspection*...the Super Hornet. My bad (i got a USAF calendar, so uh, yeah).
Until something happens (like I get better, or bored) I'll be gone. Someday I'll be back. pe-ace.
