Another Friday

Dec 10, 2004 06:56

Well it's Friday again, thankfully. I was good and did the majority of my homework, leaving only a lab report to type up in G12 this morning. Yesterday I got called into work and stayed until 8 p.m.. Work was surprisingly tiring, seeing as I had to do the list ( list of stuff to restock ), then actually get the list, and pack it away, which usually someone else does. Ah well. Harvey, the owner showed me how to fix the shake machine, which rocks, because now I'm one of three people that can do it. I feel useful in a dorky kind of way :P

In other news, yesterday we took a Math quiz on logs that devoured my soul. I think I did okay, but not the best. I did however get a 15/15 on one of the prior quizzes. AP Computer Science is getting a bit better because now we're writing classes, which totally is fun :D. We had a pop quiz yesterday which made us write a class that could make rectangles, and do a whole bunch of other stuff. Physics is still a bit iffy because Mr. Amato isn't quite the best teacher, but he's getting there. I don't mind it as much as I did before when I made a big stink about it. French is just awesome, I love it.

Tom Terry wanted me to play Warhammer tonight, but I realized that I can't because I'm closing at McDonald's (7p.m. - midnight ) tonight and tomorrow night for the next two weeks. Bleh. Ah well. I got paid yesterday which definitely is a plus, even though it was only $150ish. I remember when I used to get paychecks like $262 :O, that was fun. I need to do Christmas shopping for a few more people, since my family is done. OH!

My mom left for South Africa on the 7th. She's spending a month there with our family, and staying for Christmas. While it'll be a bit lonely here, I think it's the best gift we can give her because she only gets to go once a year usually, and only in the summer. I keep checking my e-mail every few minutes to see if there is anything from her, because I've yet to hear from her. I really think this is the best Christmas present we can give her (myself and my Dad).

Meh, time for school. G-12, ho!
