Danny was rubbing his eyes as he walked out of the building, down the steps and toward the street. His coat had been warm enough when he got to work but now as great as the leather jacket looked on him it wasn't going to keep him warm to the subway station. He took his glasses off and rubbed his eyes again waving for a cab. He was cold and exhausted and just wanted to crash.
Rolling down his window, Flack leaned out with a honk of the horn. "Yo, Messer!" he called down the street to the stylish, yet obviously freezing Danny. "Care for a lift?" Danny looked like crap... dark lines under his eyes, a red nose and heavy eyelids all made him look as adorable as they did sleepy.
Danny had jumped a little at the sound of the horn and had to double check he watch when his mind grappled at why Don was here and just what the hell time it was anyway. "What're you doin' here so late?" He asked walking over to the car and climbing in the passenger seat.
"Figured I'd pick you up from work." Don said, simply, kissing Danny 'Hello'. As he pulled the car out, Don started the drive... away from Danny's appartment.
Danny kissed him back, but then a thoughtful expression crossed his face. "are you wearing aftershave?" He asked as he slung his arm around the back of Don's carseat.
"oh yah? Well I hope yer takin' him some place quiet, 'cause he's fuckin' exhausted." Danny muttered slowly using his train of thought as he looked at the passing scenery, "where the hell r'you takin' us?" he asked.
Danny was too tired to complain and he just hoped that if Don had something planned he could keep his eyes open for it. "Alright..." He conceited, "if you say so." With that he leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes.
As Flack continued to drive, only about five more minutes went by before he slowed to a stop. "Allright, Danny. This is where we get out." He said, leaning over to the man and kissing him on the cheek.
Danny gave Don a strange look seeing as how they'd barely been driving at all. He leaned forward and looked around finding them parked on the street a few yards from the Parker Meridien hotel and a few other recognizable landmarks. "What's going on here Flack?" He asked.
