Rocky's death was caused by a dog breeder. Rocky & Linda got in a fight in the car. He was throwing up from the oils on Sexy Kitty's suit. She thought he'd been drinking again. She kicks him out of the car on the highway. He begins to get sick (while still in his furry costume) on the side of the road. He was on all fours. The breeder. who lived up at the top of the hill, heard his dogs causing a commotion. He went outside to see what the problem was, and saw what he thought was a coyote on the side of the road. Protecting his dogs he shot the coyote. This coyote turns out to be Rocky. Rocky staggers to the street and is thus killed by Linda striking him with the car, causing the subesquent accident.
The guy in the freezer's friend (the dim-witted guy) has a cousin. He apparently told the cousin about the vending machines in the warehouse and the take he and the guy who was shot were doing to get extra money. The gun used was found at the cousin's residence matching the ballistics of the weapon used, and the chip found at the scene. The blood apparently froze causing only one drop to be in the "dimwitted" guys pants. Anyway, the "cousin" comes to rob the machines, he is surprised by the two in the warehouse, he kills the one and runs. We find out this guy is the cousin during the last scene. The cousin actually says to dimwitted guy, "I should have shot you in the freezer."
No the breeder legitimately thought it was a coyote. He didn't get into trouble from what i understand. It takes intent to get charged with murder. Probably non-negligent manslaughter, or something like that. :)
I would feel horrible if I had done something like that, even if it was unintentional. Sucks. But the guy was protecting his livelihood. They didn't go into detail about telling the guy that he shot a person, so one doesn't really know. It's all up to conjecture.

i was so into the show .. but sleep got ahold of me... one of the downfalls of having a 6 month old
but i feel bad for rocky his lil fetish (sp?) and got him killed...OK so is the breeder in trouble... i mean he did not mean to kill a person?
