CSI moves to new community for seminars
I hope someone can find this series of stories for me. I've been trying to recall more details for months and searching my files for every word or phrase I can think may lead me in the right direction with no results. I'm sure the main fandom is Vegas CSI, with other CSI teams and new characters in the mix. The place (town? university area?) the team moves to is called something like Silver Lake or Silver Spring or Silver Springs I'm pretty sure. At one point Gil is in a store of some kind, overhears a conversation, and asks them something about insects, which leads to him having to explain his passion for bugs and gaining a new friend. I've been trying to locate this series off and on for the last 3-4 years and it's really driving me buggy. Can anyone help? Does that sound familiar to anyone or am I deluded?

Okay! Apparently I made the same plea in 2014 and was told it was YS McCool (aka Yvonne McCool)'s Hit the Ground Running series. I tried the 6 year old link and got a page where I need a password I don't have to get anywhere. Does anyone have a copy that can send me, or a way to get in and request a password from Ms McCool?
