Nick falls ill while Gil is away
I'm looking for a CSI LV Gil/Nick story. Gil is out of town visiting his mother. Nick is taking a weekend off, feeling sick but the shift is short handed so he gets called in by either Catherine or Sarah (who's kinda hostile to Nick). When Nick drives up to the crime scene they wonder if he's drunk; he's driving slow and haltingly and when he gets out of the car he's staggering. Turns out that the ill-timed call saved Nick's life. He didn't have the flu and if he had stayed home the scheduled weekend he would have been dead by the time Gil came home. I think it was meningitis, or something just as serious.
