2 oldies: Grissom Snr a murder suspect & TOS xover
The case in the first story is a stabbed body found in an ally. From the murder's spit found on the victim Greg finds DNA that points to the father Gil hasn't seen since he left them when he was young.
The second story is a Star Trek TOS crossover. The Enterprise comes to a distant planet where Dr. Grissom and his team of scientists have been studying for several years without contact. Everything seem okay but Kirk and Spock feel that they are hiding something. Someone is murdered and the Enterprise has to stay to solve it. Grissom and team don't want to leave the planet. Turns out several (or all?) of the team are vampires and the planet is dark most of the time.
