Summary: Tom has learnt that you have to be understanding when your fiancée is friends with the Doctor.
A/N: I've set myself the challenge of writing a drabble for each day of advent for different characters/pairings. They'll all be pretty fluffy and positive. Although they probably won't be Christmas related until later on.
The Doctor had no comprehension of acceptable hours to visit. Luckily, Tom was very understanding as they stood in the kitchen in their dressing gowns, at three in the morning, while the Doctor chattered about nothing.
Martha and Tom, both skilled in the art of getting people to talk about things that were bothering them, finally got him to admit that he was upset, and spent the next three hours counselling the Doctor for his latest loss, that had left him in need of a friend.
After hugging both Martha and Tom, the Doctor left, feeling much happier than before.
