Does anyone know if there's a way to get my iPod Touch out of "Recovery Mode" without losing all of my settings?
I upgraded to 4.0.2 last night, and when it was finished the iPod screen when blank and wouldn't power on. iTunes reports that the iPod is in "Recovery Mode" and only gives me the option to "Restore" (thus losing all of my settings).
I know some of you have a lot more experience with iTunes/iPods than I do (I'm a fairly recent "convert"), so any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
UPDATE: It's working again, but I had to reset it to Factory Defaults and then Restore the last backup. Oddly enough, that did restore all of my settings, but it lost all of my music and apps (all of which I had to manually reload).
It seems to be working fine now (*fingers crossed*).
