The definition of "this sucks"
Six weeks ago, my parents spent 14K replacing their roof down to and including the sheathing, rebuilding their chimney, replacing all their gutters, and repairing their eaves and porch. This hadn't been done in close to 50 years.
On Friday, a tree fell over, took out their brand-new chimney, part of the new roof on the third story, a part of the gutters on the south side of the house, and the support beam for half the porch.
