We booked our reception hall for our wedding yesterday. Booking early meant that we got the exact date that we wanted, and also that we lock in prices at what they are right now, and don't have to pay whatever they will be in two years. Our reception hall is contracted with a catering company and a dj. We asked about that before booking, and turns out the catering company is the same one that does stuff for Dreu's work and he knows that they have really good food. The dj was apparently the guy that we were talking to and he seemed really nice too. So thats three things down, many many more to go. For example, I have to select my menu! (They only have one vegetarian dish, and we only have one guest who doesn't eat meat, and he's veagan, and the one veggie dish is alfredo, which has dairy in it, so he can't eat it anyway.... Simple problems like that lol)
No clue on the florist yet. Or photographer. Or any dresses or anything.... Lots to do in the next two years. How do people plan these in any less time???
