wow...
tomorrow will be my third consecutive day in yoakum, and it hasn't been as bad as i may have imagined... true i spent all day wednesday in victoria with jennifer, and all i did today was lay on the couch.... but still, it's been much worse.
wednesday was fun... i got to see over the hedge and catch up with my friend robert who i haven't seen in a bit. it was great up until we were halfway home and ran out of gas, even though the gas gauge said we still had a quarter tank... eh... while we were waiting for my mom to drive out to the middle of nowhere and bring us gas, jennifer and managed to get fucked up on vodka sours cause we had just "happned to have supplies" in the trunk of our car.
i spent most of today laying on the couch watching movies... a pretty easy day... i was supposed to celebrate jennifer's birthday in austin tonight, but her friends were being lame and didn't drive down from houston so we ended up not going...
it's weird living at home for so many days in a row... things are so much different here. we eat dinner at 5PM and i don't have to cook it but i do have to do the dishes right after i eat... also, everyone here goes to bed at 9:30 or 10, but they get up at crazy hours like 6 in the morning when i'm getting ready to go to sleep... it's weird having to fight crookshanks (my sister's cat) for my bed because he's obviously declared that it belongs to him and him alone... at least he gets along with tj since i'm gonna havta leave him in yoakum indefinately... :( oh well. i guess i should go to bed even though my sleeping pills aren't even making me sleepy... i gotta get up at 8 because my family seems to think it is a decent hour for getting up to go shopping... go figure...i tried to explain to them that in a normal world shopping starts around 2 or 3 but they're not buying it.... so for now i'm out... plans are to be back in san marvelous fri night... but there's talk of dinner with grandma, so who knows...
