More thoughts on Summer Anime

I've already said enough about Blood-C on Twitter so I'll hold off on that, but here are more thoughts on anime.

Mawaru Penguindrum Episode 1:

....What the hell did I just watch? I'm not quite sure, but the penguins are hilarious, it's beautiful to look at, and I'm very intrigued. :O I'll probably keep watching this!

The Idolm@aster Episode 1:
I...actually kinda liked it. :O Honestly, I had fun just watching the animation, and the whole thing was more classy than I expected it to be. I'll give it another episode~

Nurarihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyo Episode 2:
LOL good job at summing up the Jami story in the first two minutes. XD Literally just "This is who Jami is and now I'm recruiting him into my clan, whoo!" But those are the only things important from that story anyway, so good job. XD Thankfully, the rest of the episode was perfectly paced. I'm glad they split the Keikain story into two episodes after all! And I still can't get over how much better the animation and direction is this season, it really looks and feels like a different anime. :O

Also, lol at Katsuyuki Konishi voicing yet another older brother character, albeit this time it's a mean one. XD Speaking of which, I'm still amused at Keiji Fujiwara being cast as Rihan, yet another father character, who of course was murdered in the first minute of the first episode. XD;

Ikoku Meiro no Croisée Episode 2:
This is still so cute and heartwarming! *__* I just love how mindful Claude is about Yune's feelings, and Yune trying to learn and grow to like everything is so adorable. But yeah, I can totally understand how cheese and black coffee would be so gross to her. XD (When I showed mom the first ep, she kept putting herself in Yune's shoes and saying "Cheese and bread? EW NO GIVE ME MY RICE AND MISO SOUP.") XD And I totally lol'd at Claude trying umeboshi at the end (I don't like them either). Now I want to see Yune making natto and making him try that too, bwahaha.

Btw, I'm getting the feeling I might end up watching all of Uta no Prince-sama, solely because the NicoNico comments are so entertaining. XD; It's really the perfect show to watch just to make fun of: utterly ridiculous, but not mindnumbingly awful.
