I have the biggest, stupidest grin on my face right now. I don't see it going away for another few hours.
Just...my god. It looks like they're totally sticking to the manga in terms of the backstory. And the original battle scenes against Isaac look awesome. Al is actually doing stuff. It looks gorgeous. And SHINRI-KUN!!!
Oh, and unrelated, but I finally finished the next chapter of my Gurren Lagann fanfic. Get to reading!!
EDIT: Is it weird that I am TOTALLY FANGIRLING over the black officer uniforms and cityscapes? It's nice to see they're keeping gag scenes and ridiculous humor too. It's hard to hear the music in this clip, but it sorta reminded me of the previous anime's music in the beginning, and made me get a little teary-eyed as it went on.
But LOL, Isaac looks like he's got automail and ice alchemy. Rather Gary Stu-ish, sad to say.
EDIT 2: AHHHHHH OMG. Huge Doors are HUGE! Ahaha it's like right across from the Gurren Lagann booth too (they've got a huge Nia lol).
