Quick rant/fanfic rambling
Okay, so I started writing this Gurren Lagann AU fanfic over Spring Break and posted it this morning. I had a lot of fun with it, and I've never written something like that before so it was an interesting experience.
The problem is that I've also been working on that Simon/Nia FST revamp, and gradually building up a playlist for the AU fanfic at the same time. So now whenever I find a good song for the FST, I sometimes think "Wait, maybe this would work for Garlock!Simon more than canon!Simon?" And it's confusing because I'm trying to write Garlock!Simon to be very different from canon!Simon, since it's the BAD END scenario and he's become a crazy quasi-villain.
...I guess it depends on how sappy I intend to make it later on. WTF SINCE WHEN DID I START WRITING SO MUCH ROMANCE? I blame Princess Tutu for starting the trend. >/
