Kirsten and I were wondering how many more chapters the flashback arc will continue, so I decided to make a list of stuff we haven't seen yet.

Maybe, under the cool to see list, why Riza decided to follow Roy.

I do think tank 14 is going to have chapters 54-58 (it kind of matches up with Volume 5 which also had 5 chapters and was also the start of a flashback arc.). In volume 5 a couple chapters were also shorter than usual.

That would mean Tank 15 would at least have chpaters 59-62 so I think the flashback arc will at least go to 62.

There is certainly a lot that still has to be shown although some of it like Roy learning the secrets of his sensei's alchemy from Riza and the origin of Riza's tattoo could possibly be shown later. But I do think it is important to show the promise between Roy and Hughes, Roy's determination to one day take over Amestris, and Riza's reason for deciding to follow Roy. And I don't think it is possible to do that in one more chapter so I agree with you that the Ishval arc will be finished at the end of the summer.

Either that, or it could not be shown at all. I thought the flashback-within-a-flashback at the beginning of Chap. 60 was enough to understand why Riza had the tattoo and whether Roy would get to see it. Though if Arakawa goes more in depth with the "ultimate alchemy" Hawkeye-sensei was talking about, maybe we will see more of how Roy learned about it...

You know what I've been wondering? Why is Scar aimlessly wandering the desert in chapter 16 (and he seems to be lost, and far away from Ishval)? According to this chapter, he's currently in Ishval, so do him and his brother run away or something...? And if Kimbley just popped out of nowhere and attacked him, how is his brother there to protect him (remember, he seems to be looking for his master and brother)?

It's a dream. You don't think Scar would wonder "Where am I...? Is this Ishbal?" in the actual flashback, would you? ;P

Well, that's what had me confused. If that was his actual memory (I was assuming that it was more of a dream-flashback, rather than some crazy dream loosly based on what actually happened), why would he be lost somewhere? But I guess saying it was just a crazy dream makes sense!
