§ Collecto-London: So, I know we're all still in recovery mode from The Hub3, but I was wondering if anybody had started making plans about Collecto-London yet? Ideally I'd like to know which days people are planning to stay in London. I know the Saturday evening is a given, but is anyone planning to stay another night either before/after this one ( Read more... )

I'm considering staying over in London Friday and Saturday night, actually, even though I'm fairly close as it is. It'll just be easier than trying to catch the first train out in order to get there early. I'd have to find somewhere cheap to stay, though! Or a roommate, but frankly I'd settle for staying somewhere with other fangirls.

ps. I'm going to make the halol post when I get back from this weekend. OMG.

I'm definitely hoping to stay the Fri/Sat and possibly now the Sun too since I see others planning to also. You're totally welcome to roomshare with me and whoever else if you're up for it? :)

Oooh! I would totally be up to roomshare as long as it doesn't cost too much (I have no MONEY D:). Keep me in the loop bb! ♥

OMG I could wear my enormous cardboard wings. Dare I? I want to unnerve Misha, not totally freak him the fuck out...

...Actually hold that thought, may have found a [hostel] for half that price XD max'll be £30 each for three nights?

Hope you're having lots of fun at HH this weekend :)

Arrrrgh late reply! I hope I haven't missed the boat on this one. The hostel sounds pretty good. Is that £30 a night or for all three?

XD nope, you've not missed out!

Well they charge just under £30 per night, so for three people over three nights it'd be around £30 each :) ...unless we could find a fourth person, then it'd be even cheaper, but I don't know anyone else looking for a room, do you?

You up for it?

WOOT.

I don't know anybody else looking for a room (timecake may be staying in the same place, but she's already got a roomie). But £30 a night would be extremely manageable on my poor budget, so I am so up for it! >:D

You're going to see La Cage one night, aren't you?

ps. I told my driving instructor about our plans to turn up in halos and/or wings and he went "... is this going to be at the convention or on this poor guy's doorstep". MUAHAHAHAHA.

I thought she was staying at the Easyjet one? Maybe.

Whoop! And yes, we're seeing La Cage on the Saturday night (I remember trying to con you into coming too at some point, right? Thinking about it? ::waggles eyebrows::)

(BWAHAAHAAHA! omg I love this guy's opinion of us already XD ...halolpost soon, ys?)

She was going to, but this weekend she said she might switch? Idk. She said won't be able to room with us, at any rate, so no worries.

(You did! But I couldn't find seats near you :<)

(OKAY. I also told him about our tug-of-war idea and he was slightly confused, so I explained it: "my friend grabs one arm and I grab the other and we... pull". "And then he splits down the middle and you each take a half home?" Haha. I love my driving instructor).

I have reading fail :( the hostle is charging per person, not per room, so it'd be £75 per person for the three nights. What say you to that one?

WOE :( ...are you still gonna try come? You have to call the box office now for tickets though, so I dunno if there's any left.

(OMFG THIS! ...I mean, so long as it doesn't kill him, and he grows his missing halves back, I think this idea could turn even more epic than previously thought! haha omg)

Um. I don't know. I may either have to limit my stay to two nights (Friday and Saturday) or... I don't know. Use my student loan? I don't really have a choice. I live pretty close to London, but not close enough that I won't have to catch the first train out in order to get there.

Idk! Possibly not. We'll see. I'm not discounting anything, in the hope that I'll suddenly come into money in the next few days. Otherwise I'll just have to figure something out.

(But what would you do with half of Misha?

I AM SO FREAKIN' NERVOUS BTW).
