I can totally see that!

I completely agree about Jack/Gwen though, Gwen is a less interesting person when she's with him. It's like he stops her having emotional growth and making sensible decisions.

heh. there's always one person per fandom who I like to pair up with all and sundry. Poor Ianto snapped up the role pretty much the instant he appeared on screen!

Yeah. Gwen functions so much better when they're not trying to have her mooning over Jack. I liked that they got rid of that in S3 and purposefully showed the Gwen/Rhys dynamic, which is far more epic to watch, lets be frank! lol.

See, exactly, she can be epic when she's left to be awesome without any unnecessary romantic shenanigans. (Rhys is necessary, and kind of hilarious.)
