I have words--!
I managed to get around 1000+ words for my
spn_j2_bigbangfic today. How chuffed am I feeling right now? :D There was a post up on the community asking how everyone was doing with their fics so far, it amused me to admit that the wordcount for my plot was higher than that of my actual fic. But I've made a start now, and with 6weeks left to go, I am actually really determined to get this done, hoo-rah! My only problem is that I keep subtly changing the flow/direction of where I'm looking to take the story, so much so that I've no idea how on earth I'll be ending it. Still, I'll worry about that when I get there! If I get there, she thinks to herself.
Also, they were asking for us to post a little snippet, just a sentence or two of fic, here's mine:
...biting at his lip, Sam tries not to flinch at the touch of cold fingers to his wrist. He flexes his own fingers, feeling the sweat-dried stick as his hand clench-unclenches around the hilt of his knife before settling into grip once more...
Okay, so it's not hella exciting, but at least it's something, right?
