Moeraki Boulders Photo Guide

Feb 25, 2016 22:37

Moeraki Boulders is another "must-see" attraction of the South Island of New Zealand. Those are large boulders of unusual, close to spherical shape. They say that the shape is completely natural and caused simply by the waves of the ocean. Well, shouldn't there be more of them around the world or in New Zealand itself then?..

The entire experience of seeing the boulders is actually quite underwhelming, but don't despair - there are going to be plenty of opportunities for photos!

And we are going to take you on a tour of the possibilities!

As a warmup, start with a classic pose on the boulder:

Pick a boulder you like, nobody is going to judge! :-)

Another classic is a pic inside the boulder:

Don't forget to bring a sacrificial goat for the Gods of the boulders, though, so that you don't make them angry!

Luckily, my hubby was given back to me in one piece:

Unfortunately, looks like this group is still waiting for its member to return...

Next up are relaxing yoga poses in a gorgeous beach setting!

Of course, best poses are those in which you are not actually posing:

Now that your creative juices are flowing, try out something off the beaten track: like run across a set of boulders:

Or play soccer:

Seriously, one can feel the energy of this place in the air!

Just don't overdo it. Keep some energy for the trip back to the car!

I hope we made you smile :-) Life is too short to be serious all the time :-)
