Alright so the math incident was one thing, and obviously I truly believe in this sort of stuff. But I think he might have felt he needed something bigger, hit home a little bit harder.
Here's the preface. Patrick was the only reason that I went to big concerts. He took me to Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts at HiFi Buys. As well as Manheim Steamrollers and Simon and Garfunkel at Philips. So location plays a big role, I've only ever been to concerts at Philips with Patrick.
Ok so... Coldplay concert was Wednesday (which was amazing) at Philips. (So i was already dealing with the nostalgia.) We had seats in the very top section, which plays a very important role.... there are no sections above us... nothing above us except the rafters... no people... no kids... no nothing. So Coldplay is jamming on and we're all having a great time when all of a sudden... this Elmo balloon starts floating out of the nothingness that is above us. If you've ever been to Philips you know what an immense amount of open space there is between the top and the floor... so this balloon is just gently swaying throughout the arena. If you don't understand what a big deal this is, then you don't know that Patrick's nickname for me was Elmo. So somethings in life are just amazing, and all i can do is say Thank you. I love and miss you.
-Mom- Thank you so much for replying to the last entry and for the birthday greeting. I was definitely planning on telling you about it the next time we get to see each other, but I'm glad you got to read it. Love you.
