"Oops, I think I just got sperm on your lens..."

A huge thanks goes out to Dr. Baube for that one. And, on the same note, Steven and I are now proud parents of many 4-cell stage baby sea urchins. Ah, the joys of biology lab.

I love walking down Ho Chi Min trail. There is something wonderfull therapeutic about it. With the exception of when I am late to class, I so often wish it were longer. I get a lot of good thinking done on that trail. Just walking in nature, sifting through all of my billions of thoughts. I would say that its just because its outside, among the trees but there is something else about it. Something that I haven't yet put my finger in. Ho Chi Min trail is one of the things I know I will definitely miss about Oglethorpe.

Vegas was fun. We didn't proceed to finals, but we had a damn good time nonetheless. We performed as well as we could have and are all (at least to the best of my knowledge) quite pleased with our performance. It all started at 6am saturday meeting in the gym parking lot to make our way to marta (and eventually the airport). Laurie locked her keys in her car (boo) and will came and saved the day (yay!). I slept pretty much the entire way there, since I had yet to sleep from the night before. After our arrival and check in we had a short time for naps followed by some practicing. Lauren ordered us al room service (PF CHANGS!!) and bought us tons of candy for dessert. It was so nice. We sat around and talked forever before all retiring to our rooms. Sunday was competition so we spent the day practicing, getting ready, and competing. Sunday night, since we wouldnt be competing on Monday we all hung out, danced, walked down the strip etc. Monday we were able to do some Vegas sight seeing. It really is like a disney world for big kids, everything there is a production. We all bought new clothes, crazy girls we are. Monday night we did more walking around the strip, looking for a place to eat and the like. Wound up at a little pizza place inside Caesar's. It was yummy. Tuesday came quickly and we all packed our things up and headed home. So many wonderful memories I'd like to share but a) this entry would run on forever and b) what happens in vegas...

So now I am just trying to catch up this week. I have a lot of tests and a lot of parties in the weeks to come (what a horrible combination). I need to get back to working, my wallet is suffering greatly as a result of all of this dance stuff. Copies, evenlopes, stamps, shirts, iron ons, food, new clothes, make up etc etc etc. Tonight is our last practice of the year. We perform sunday at each game and then its all over. I'll be glad to have my free time back, but sad its all coming to a close. It's definitely going to be a different team next year and I'll miss some of the girls from this year a lot.

More later, but for now...off to shower, dance and then study for that bio test tomorrow. Yuck
