I can't believe that tomorrow I have to pack up all my things and I move back in to school on friday. Summer has really flown by. Working and taking a class wasn't my idea of a fun summer, but its turned out to be pretty fantastic overall. However, I am extremely excited to be back to school. I think its going to be a hard year, but a good one none the less. I am very glad that I decided to only take 13 hours as opposed to my usual 16 or 17. Hopefully this will give me some time to focus on other things. I have also decided that I will not be actively working, so to all you who always complain that if I have a night off I work, your wishes are coming true.
Things with Charlie continue to go well. I'm not sure exactly what we "are," but whatever it is I'm very happy. He came over on Monday and we had a lazy day of sorts. Spent most of the day hanging around and watching TV. It was only the third day I've seen him, but I feel strangely comfortable which is nice. I don't get to see him again until friday unless he decides to stop by tomorrow. =( Hopefully once I'm at school and get settled into a schedule I will be able to visit with him a little more often. Its been a long time since I really fell for someone, so I am admittedly a little apprehensive about letting down my guard, but he's well worth a little vulnerability.
The georgia state class that I started on monday seems like it may be a little difficult. This guy takes his linear algebra very seriously. Lucky for me the concepts are very much based in algebra and real numbers as opposed to the abstract. I think I'm up for the challenge.
Speaking of math I have started tutoring a high school senior from Northview named Matt in precalculus. Tonight was our first night. I was extremely nervous, but it turned out very well. Theyre pretty much doing review right now, so he had a pretty good grasp of the concepts. Once he gets going with the material I have a feeling it will get a little more difficult. I'd really like to have a few more tutoring jobs. Its well paying for what it is...
okay, I think I've babbled long enough for tonight.
