Oh John G.Roberts... how i loathe thee...
so... President Bush has selected a new member of the Supreme court and The senate will begin hearings deciding whether or not he will be elected in September.... he is expected to be elected no later than October with a 99% senate approval rating in previous hearings.
Ive researched this new almost member of this Nations Supreme Court since i saw the presidents live broadcast on prime time TV.
John G. Roberts was quoted in 1991 saying
"We continue to believe that [Roe v. Wade] was wrongly decided and should be overruled......the Court's conclusions in Roe that there is a fundamental right to an abortion and that government has no compelling interest in protecting prenatal human life throughout pregnancy find no support in the text, structure, or history of the Constitution."
he also argued in favor of a government regulation that banned abortion-related counseling and federally funded family-planning programs. A line in his brief noted the Bush administration's belief that Roe v. Wade should be overruled
basically.... im afraid of whats next.. no one else seems much to care... but MY right to choose is something i feel very strongly about
