Time Runs Out.
So last weekend was tax-free weekend, which means that everyone in the state of Texas will be out and about shopping for school. How joyous, the start of my sophmore year. That means I'm growing up. Too fast, might I add. Saturday I went into Houston to go shopping, didn't get much purchasing/shopping accomplished because my beloved grandma was with us. She is the best grandma ever. Spoiled me to death when I was little, and still does. The problem is is that she's getting up there in age, and so she walks slower, does some weird annoying things, and yet still tries to buy me things which are for little girls between the ages of five and ten. I love her to death, but when my mom and I are in a hurry trying to go to a lot of stores in one day, it just does not work out too well. So while at the Plato's Closet in Katy, I got this jacket, which is perdy rad..haha, and so I bought it, and brought it home. As I opened the sack of goodies from Plato's, I feel something in the pocket, and what do it be?! It be a letter! haha....So of course I open it and read it...and here it goes...

hey! doesn't that look kewl ^^^^ ? haha! JK! LOL! Well, I'm so bored and I'm in history so I hafta write this fast! haha! I know!! My mom ROX! don't tell anyone though...hehe! I HATE COACH PEKAR! Well, when will your email be fixed? I'll send you an email next time I get online! hehe! Well I'm starving! !ahhhh! so newayz howz your life been! I don't like Mr. Alvarez either even though I don't even have him! hehe! did you know he and Mrs. Falligant had an affair so they got divorced from their old spouses (adult word hehe) now they just "date" !guess! well, I gtg...Byerz! Smooches! I won't be coming back after 6th period so I'll miss ya... <3 Alwayz -Sarah
haha...so, well I was amused with that, let's say! Ah, the joys of buying used clothing. Gotta love it!
Before I left to come home, back from RI, I had a slight cough that went away and came back, no biggie! It came back again, and left when I was home, last week, no sweat! It was gone, and now it's back. The devilish cough is back again, and it has been for three days. *sigh* I'm afraid I'm all yucky now. Taking medicine that makes you floppy and lifeless. No energy. This stinks. Here I am, supposed to be getting rest before I start school in a little over a week, and this cough sets in. How fun. >:|
It seems like this summer has gone by sooo creepishly fast. I got out of school, relaxed for a month, then boom! I was gone for another month! I came home and there was a month until school starts. What do you know?! there's only one week left in that month. So now the sweat begins to drip. What did I get done this summer? Did I get everything done that I wanted to? The answer is no. There's still so much more to get done on my to-do list. This cough isn't helping either. Plus, this weekend will be swept away if I get to go to Disciple Now. Then, I only have exactly a week to finish things up, get rest, and go to school. I had so many plans for this summer, of what I would get done. I can't believe how much I didn't get done. I hate being disappointed in myself too.
This weekend is the last weekend in which things will still be normal for the three best friends. hmph. Kylie starts school at BCA on the 15th. I start school on the 23rd. Courtney is left to be a bum for another month, then she heads to Houston for the Court Reporting Institute. We all say we'll keep in touch. But we know it's not going to be normal or easy. It'll be a struggle for us all.
