The stench of Anime
Well, I knew I had the right hotel last night for Anime LA when I walked in and the smell of Otaku BO hit me like a ton of bricks. O.O Yeah, that's a GREAT Inuyasha costume, but you don't have to SMELL like a dog to wear it, k? Holy shit... BATHE! The con is no bigger than the Gathering normally is... but thank GODS my fandom showers once in awhile. blech.
I saw the last 5 minutes of Greg's last panel, then we got some dinner (followed by "Adventures in Van Nuys" as we tried to find a Baskin Robbins). I had one scoop of ice cream that I couldn't finish and Greg had this HUGE Sunday that he showed no mercy to. It's obviously been a long time since I saw Greg because he didn't remember seeing my nose ring before and I got that for my birthday.
I'm heading back today to try to lure some of their dealers over to the Gathering. Meeting up with Shara and her Gargoyles publicity table. Wish me luck!
