I wake up, and everything is different
The sun shines a different light,
The birds have a different flight.
I walk across a stage and suddenly, I'm different.
I'm now free of the only place I've know,
And I'm not wanted anymore.
Friends say their "I miss you"'s and I realize, they aren't true.
Friends try to act like friends, but somehow, life isn't the same.
I see how fake they really are, and I see why they would lie to me.
Life changes and people change.
I just wish it wasn't my life.
